On behalf of the Government of Ontario, I am delighted to extend warm greetings to our Bahá’í community as you celebrate Ridván.
This is a time of prayer, celebration and contemplation as the community reflects on the significance of the Declaration of Bahá'u'lláh in the Garden of Ridván.
As a spiritual leader and teacher, Bahá'u'lláh taught His followers that there was only one race — the human race. He established a faith that enshrined the ideals of a united global society, respect for diversity, and equality of all people.
Our province is proud to be home to a flourishing Bahá’í community and a faith whose central beliefs resonate with the values we cherish as Ontarians.
This festival is an opportunity for Bahá’ís to strengthen their faith and reaffirm the bonds of family and community.
Please accept my best wishes for a meaningful celebration.
